Technical Sales Administrator
£20 - 25.000P.A.
Our client is seeking a Sales Administrator to assist the Sales Team, including the Managing Director, with the day to day running of the office. The ideal candidate will be technically minded with lots of initiative and keen to learn and research technical products, speed read technical manuals when required to obtain information for clients and not afraid to ask questions to manufacturers when something is not understood.
You will be responsible for the accurate process and date entry of incoming enquiries, sourcing of a wide range of materials and equipment and ensure that the products selected are technically correct as well as possess the ability to negotiate the best price possible. You will professionally answer incoming calls and divert accordingly, liaise with suppliers and customers in a professional and technical manner and assist with all admin duties including filing and ordering of stationery.
You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be well organised with the ability to work with high volume and to prioritise workload. You will be IT literate and have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well as part of a team. You will be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis and fluent in English. Previous experience of working in an administrative or purchasing role is desirable. Ideally you will be a non smoker and reliability is essential.
