Part Time, Temporary HR Assistant
Our client is an OUTSTANDING Specialist School that is rapidly expanding and therefore looking to engage an HR Assistant on a Temporary Basis.
You will support the HR Managers in the provision of a high quality, efficient HR service for the school. This is a customer-focused role to provide effective support across the HR function with particular focus on recruitment, employee records and operational HR administration. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualifications or demonstrable knowledge, professional development and experience relevant for the role. You will have experience of recruitment, and ideally experience of working in a generalist HR support role in a School and be highly organised with excellent administrative skills with the ability to work harmoniously, efficiently and often under pressure. You will have the ability to prioritise and work accurately with attention to detail. You will have excellent communication skills, particularly in the drafting of correspondence, formal letters and responding to queries, be able to build effective working relationships and work well as part of a busy team, be highly proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel and ideally have experience of using databases. You will understand and respect sensitivity of HR information and employee records and ensure confidentiality of all written and verbal communications. You will also understand the importance of safeguarding and safer recruitment within a school environment.
Hours – At least 3 days per week from 8.30am – 5pm. School hours can be worked until the Summer but if the role continues after this period, the position will require 3 full days.

This role is subject to the relevant Safeguarding checks, which will include an Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK checks. This role does not meet the requirements for sponsored work permits.
