Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated individual with good office admin skills and a willing and flexible attitude. The role is to start on 16th September and you will be able to cover staff holidays until Christmas.
The hours of work will be Monday - Friday for 5 hours each day. The hours worked during these days will be flexible. If you are able to cover longer hours during the holiday weeks to be covered, that would be an advantage.
The role will include the following duties;
Ensure the smooth running of the sales office. Make sure labels are printed in the order of priority and keep the board up to date, print labels and delivery notes when required.
Customer Service, ensuring that all cost prices are correct.
Update cost prices seasonally and special offers on Sage.
Make sure all retails are correct on HLS.
Create codes for new products and set up on HLS.
Answer the phone promptly.
Complete stock takes twice a year (June & December).
Sales reports/spreadsheets for customers.
Organise transport when required for long distance deliveries.
Keep track of how much empties Bleach/Docks owe us and request them back regularly.
File supplier order confirmations.
Book in broken trollies .
Email invoices to customers.
Keep track of customer allocations and make sure they are sent when required.
Welcome visitors, making sure they sign in and wear a hi-vis.
Deal with customers that come and collect from goods. Invoice them and take payment (cash or card). Write cash payments on the cash sheet.
Keep customers epos departments informed of new products.
Investigate credit requests promptly and raise credit when necessary.
Any jobs that need to be done to help other team members during busy times and when they are absent.
Send out marketing emails.
Help new employees with training on how to follow procedures.
Monitor label stock levels and order more when required.
Flexibility to work longer hours or start earlier when necessary.
This role could become permanent depending on the demands of the company and the candidate.
