Technician
Our client is looking for a Laboratory Technician with a strong aptitude for practical work, computers and electronics and who is looking to be part of a fast growing start up in the exciting area of textiles.
You will assist the team in producing samples, via a number of different processes that are chemistry based. You will document and track samples through the company testing programme, produce e textile samples which will involve soldering and assembly. You will use drawing software and Excel and be required to measure the resistance of the conducting pathways in the textiles. You will also write reports on the work.
The successful candidate will have ideally have experience on basic electronic circuits, have good computer knowledge, good dexterity and experience with electronics instruments - DDM, Power Supply, Oscilloscope and also knowledge/experience of 3D printing.
This would suit someone with a A Levels in Science but full training will be given. You will have good communication, problem solving and organisational skills and be analytical You will be results driven and drive performance by ensuring performance expectations are met. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
