Temporary Purchasing Administrator, 6 Month Period
Duties will include booking in deliveries daily, updating Heating forecast weekly, raising all Purchase Orders - sending by email/ calling some suppliers ordering stock online, keeping record of Safety boots ordered & placing new orders, TR Fastenings - Organising urgent deliveries & producing POs to match delivery notes. Liaising with contacts at office and factory to make sure the delivery system is working & getting any new items added to the system. Raising a PO each morning for the paint shop & liaising with contacts, collating best prices for Steel & then placing orders when needed. Keeping all records on Excel. Organising waste collections, changing dates & prices on POs when receiving acknowledgements, filing all POs, updating the production schedule when needed, making new labels & packs for Jobs, updating system when prices change, running reports at month end.
You will ideally have some purchasing experience and will need to be a bit more savvy with suppliers and stock systems. Excel experience is a great advantage and you will be available to start work immediately on a long term temporary basis.
