Our client is seeking someone who has an eye for detail, a taste for design and a good attitude with strict organizational and task planning skills. They are looking for someone who can organize trade fairs, photoshoots (sometimes attending at the weekend) and prepare company parties and participate in brain storming for new product ideas.
You will have a good knowledge of Excel and be able to create, manage and update price sheets and combine information from a diverse manufacturing centre. You will also follow up on various product award entries. You will have a good knowledge of PowerPoint and be able to prepare sales presentations and create briefs and merchandising plans. You will also You will also have a good knowledge of Word and good English Syntax grammar and vocabulary for creative writing.
It would be a bonus if you are able to use InDesign/illustrator and Photoshop but a willingness to learn is essential.
You will have strong administrative skills and be proficient on emails and happy to do some end consumer facing (Instagram or website enquiries). If you have Amazon platform knowledge, this would be a distinct advantage but training will be given. You will implement the SEO’s and upload new products/images and update pages as well as propose new ideas.
A strong and professional telephone manner is essential as you will call PR companies and other partners or pick up the main phone to answer sales enquiries.
This role is an “Assistant” position that requires the successful candidate to start immediately and on a temporary basis. There will be the opportunity for the role to evolve for the right person.
