Our client is looking for someone to join their small friendly office. You will be assisting the Director with Sales enquiries and sending quotes/invoices via email. This will include inputting data onto an ACT database as well as liaising with suppliers, ordering machines and organising transport. You will also be working towards developing business from existing database. You will be responsible for customer service, telesales/following up sales leads, quotations and you will utilise the existing customer database. You will also update the database and sales information weekly.
The ideal candidate will be self disciplined, motivated and a good team player who can interact well with others and who is able to use common sense and own initiative. You will be able to think outside the box and have a professional telephone manner. You will also be adaptable and have good Microsoft Word & Excel skills. Any experience with Sage and Act would be a distinct advantage

Our client will consider someone to work on a part time basis also but this would need to be every day and in the afternoons. Salary will be pro rata if this is the case
Monday - Friday 9-5 with half an hour for lunch
