Our client are looking for 2 temps for a Returns Assistant position on ongoing basis. Long term. It would be 40 hours a week and would include working on weekends. Can be temp to perm position.
The Returns Assistant is responsible for driving targets and supporting the Returns Supervisor on the day-to-day operations of the Returns Department. The Returns Assistant needs to ensure she is working as efficient as possible to ensure that customer service is maintained at all times.
The Returns Assistant will have the responsibility for the safe and efficient return of stock from customers. Together with the entire team, you will maintain thorough control of operational processes and co-ordinate the accurate flow of product. This role is the first point of contact for customer returns, therefore you must handle customer complaints tactfully and effectively maintaining excellent customer service at all times.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure all client returns are received, checked, processed to the highest quality standards and put away within agreed timelines.
§ Resolve queries and ensure that information is passed to the Customer Care team promptly and efficiently
§ Ensure the data is logged accurately and promptly on returns activity, including fault trend analysis, identifying causal factors and feeding back to relevant departments.
§ Notify the Customer Care team of all relevant client comments. Inspect faulty items / claims and make an informed decision
§ Escalate issues to Returns Supervisor within an appropriate time frame.
Have a strong understanding of customer service, be passionate and take ownership and care of all stock and returns within the required timeframe to ensure that the items are returned within the highest standard of product care
KNOWLEDGE Processing returns
SKILLS: Interpersonal and communication skills; team player; PC literate
EXPERIENCE: Experience within a warehouse/operational environment.
