Job Background:
Our Client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Coordinator to join their business on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be liaising with the Sales and Manufacturing departments, working as part of a team, ensuring products are made productively and on time.

Its just as important that you can work well to your own initiative and with limited supervision, demonstrating a positive and proactive work ethic.

Creation and updating of Order Processing sheets and associated product codes based upon orders and quotations. For larger orders this involves breaking orders down in more manageable sub sales orders.
Liasing with internal staff to ensure all information is present to enable order processing (up to date quotes, orders, delivery schedules, drawings, technical information etc.)Through until project completion.
Raising any queries or potential problems with orders to the relevant staff members.
Producing, updating and issuing of sales orders and accompanying acknowledgments, delivery notes and invoicing on the swan software system.
Ensuring that invoices values tie-up with client quotations and purchase orders.
Maintenance of folders and the archiving system
Revise and upgrade planning processes to improve both the sales and manufacturing practices.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have operated in a similar capacity and have previous production Administration experience. A good understanding and knowledge or work order, production schedules and planning would be advantageous. In addition, you will need to possess excellent IT skill, be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Excel, and be fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office products

This is quite technical and the person involved will need a good understanding of all components required to create an operations sheet. This will be a learning process, but you will need to produce production schedules to go to the Purchasing and Planning department. You will also raise sales acknowledgements, delivery schedules, and operations instruction sheets.

The candidate will need excellent Excel skills to be able to advance the processes as the role grows. Pivot tables and V-look ups would be necessary for the role.

21 Days holiday per annum. After 2 full years employment (January to December) an additional 1 day for every years service to a maximum of 26 days.
Sick Pay ( at discretion of manager)
Company Pension scheme

Monday - Friday
9am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break)
Salary is £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
