The ideal applicant will be Fully qualified or taking their exam soon. Helping out on reception is also required.
Keep clinical areas , equipment & instruments clean, tidy & sterile according to health & safety control procedures
Use all equipment & machinery in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations. They are kept in good working order & maintained
Provide chairside assistance ensuring correct equipment ,materials & lab work are available
Ensure care & welfare of patients
Comply & know all health & safety rules & guidance , including PPE & COSHH, Infection control waste disposal etc
Put through the Digital x-rays
Complete laboratory dockets, keep a log of work sent & received
Keep room stocked up
Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communication
Attend & participate in practice staff meetings
Other duties as necessary for the efficient running of the practice ( perhaps including the duties & tasks of receptionist as required
Undergo training as may be required to develop skills & abilities
Attend refresher & update training for medical emergencies , BLS & AED
Act in accordance with the practice rules & code of conduct
Registration with the General Dental Council. As a qualified dental care professional, you must be GDC registered.
SOE computer software
The hours of work will be :
Wednesdays & Fridays 8.15am until 5.15pm.
An occasional Saturday 9.00am-1.00pm
1 hour lunch break.
The salary is £9464-£13,520 depending on experience.
