Contracting & Support Administrator
Job Background:
Job description: Contracting Support Administrator

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday – Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm (1 hour for lunch)

You will support and assist the contracting support administration activities in a busy office, working within the contracting department in line with agreed Service Level Agreements.

Key Skills
You will need to have achieved GCSE’s (or equivalent) in English and Maths, grade C or higher desired, and have excellent IT skills and be willing to develop these skills. The successful applicant will be required to have a developing understanding of business matters and bring theoretical learning from the classroom to the workplace.

You will need to be very well organised, have good communication skills (both verbal and written), self-motivated and diligent in your approach to tasks, able to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Kay Accountabilities & Tasks
Contract Admin
o        Manage/support process of entering data onto bespoke IT system to create records for invoicing and operatives pay, liaising with managers where necessary.
o        Convert quotations to contracts in the bespoke IT system capturing all the relevant data.
o        Administer contract paperwork, measure agreements, retentions, payment terms etc. to ensure accuracy.
o        Update contracts with any necessary rate uplifts.
o        Assist in invoicing activities to build accurate customer records.
o        Administer records of subcontract purchasing.
o        Plan and prioritise own work load to fulfil customers/client/managers requirements.
o        Establish and maintain effective working relationships
o        Develop personal skills and capabilities through on going training.
o        To be a flexible and supportive member of the team.
o        To maintain strict confidentiality at all times inside and outside of the business
o        Attend and take part in any relevant team meetings & regular reviews with your line manager/mentor.
o        To adhere to local and national Health & Safety regulations and all other company Policies & Procedures.
o        Any other duties as required and appropriate to the job role.
