2nd Line IT Support Engineer
This role will be supporting a variety of customers across many different vertical markets. You will be working within a challenging and busy environment and working across a wide range of technologies and solutions. You will be customer focused with good communication skills and good proven 2nd line experience in supporting: MS Windows, Microsoft Office, Leading Anti Virus Solutions (Ideally Sophos or Eset) and you will have a clean current driving licence and vehicle.
You will work on a rotational basis every 6 weeks, the following shifts:
1x Early - 7am - 3.30pm
4x Normal - 9am - 5.30pm
1x Late - 10.30am - 7pm
You will get 1 hour for lunch on normal rota and 30 minutes on an early or late plus 2 x 15 minute breaks per day.
The company operates an on call system on a rotational basis every 6 weeks from 7pm - 10pm on weekdays and 9am - 5.30pm on weekends. There will be a payment of £100 plus £20 for any calls taken. If you work a bank holiday, you will receive an additional payment of £100 + £20 for any calls taken.
Other Desired Skills:
Office 365, Cloud & Desktop Mac Experience, MSP Background, Microsoft Active Directory experience, Exposure to Cisco Firewall Technologies, Ability to produce documents and procedures, Desire to take on supervisory responsibilities.
Main Technologies Supported will be:
Cisco, VMware, Eset, Sophos, Druva, Specops, Solarwinds Cloud Backup, Symantec Backup Exec, Mimecast, Message Labs, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint
Salary - £23 - 27K + Expenses, overtime and on call allowances when applicable
Starting holiday allowance of 22 days + bank holidays, increasing by one day for each year of service up to a maximum of 25 days.
