Job Title:
Sales Executive
£18,000 PA + Commission
Job Background:
You will be required to sell the range of company products to a broad range of customers, with the aim of exceeding budgeted targets, whilst maintaining expected company standards. You will respond quickly, thoroughly and effectively to inbound sales enquiries ( via telephone, electronically or in person) by qualifying the needs of the customer and so identifying opportunities to up sell and on sell. You will convert enquiries into profitable sales with the aim of exceeding budgeted targets across the range of company products and capture and accurately input customer data to the company database thus enabling future contact and marketing opportunities. You will proactively identify new sales opportunities through research and present to the Group Sales Manager with the aim of creating new revenue sources. You will also monitor, asses and review product success and contribute proposals of any modifications to maintain profitability, be responsible for the achievement of monthly and annual budgeted targets and to recommend corrective or supplementary actions to enhance performance and professionally and consistently fulfil these duties in a thorough, efficient and timely manner whilst adhering to all company procedures. You will deliver the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction at all times and to promote and maintain the professional image of the company by ensuring high standards of both professional and personal presentation. Excellent time management skills are essential and you will be able to prioritise work duties. You will have degree of flexibility within the specified working hours, Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work.

You will be self driven, results orientated and have a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance and comfortable dealing with senior big company executives and private individuals alike. Reliable, tolerant and determined, empathic communicator who is able to see things from the other persons point of view. Well presented and business like, keen for new experience and responsible. You will be a team player with the ability to get on with others.

IT Skills
You will be adept with the use of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be able to quickly gain an understanding of the bespoke computer system.

Business & Selling Skills
You will be an excellent face to face and telephone communicator who is able to demonstrate experience and success in managing contracts or account customers as well as consumers. Ideally you will have a background in hospitality sales.

Numeracy and Literacy
Good standard of numeracy with an understanding of basic business calculations eg gross margin percentages, VAT etc.

You will be a competent writer of quotations and proposals with excellent spelling and grammar
