Job Duties:
• Reporting to the Chief Inspector
• To carry out in process and final inspections on detailed machined parts using conventional inspection equipment and CMM.
• Ideally would have experience within a Manufacturing and Aerospace environment but is not essential.
• Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of machining disciplines and capabilities
• Program and operate the company’s CMM. Knowledge of the CMM operation system “Delcam Power Inspect 2010” would be an advantage.
• Ensuring in-process inspections are carried out in a timely manner.
• Ensure customer requirements are understood and adhered to when despatching product
• Contributing to the development of the QMS through improvement to processes and procedures.
