NVQ qualifiations are useful but people who have strong care experience and office skills also can apply.
Job Qualifications:
The role of Care Coordinator is Office and hands on Care based. You will work in the office and be involved with recruiting carers, training and scheduling as well as carrying out care work as and when required. This will be required on weekends on a rota basis. Hours are standard 37.5 hours per week but flexibility is required as cover will be needed at times outside of working hours. You will be able to work some weekends on a rota basis and work oncall from home on a 1 in 3 week basis. When oncall you will be responsible for the carers out at work and also the residents in their homes - ensuring that they have the right care and person at all times.
Remuneration:
This position will offer a good salary, mobile phone and eventually, the use of a pool car. Until the pool car is available, you will be paid 40 per mile when out caring.
