You will provide a high quality of nursing, social care and assist in identifying and addressing Health & Social Care of a wide variety of residents. You will evaluate quality of care given, administer medication to residents in accordance with N&MC guidelines, liase with GP, Chiropodist, Occupational Therapist etc, formulate care plans, work within N&MC guidelines, keep next of kin informed of changes, adhere to company policy and ensure shifts are planned and organised. You will adhere to health and safety policy at all times and attend and participate in fire drills and training sessions and staff meetings. You will undertake duties as delegated by the senior nurse on duty!
You will have General Nursing Training and Registration, 1st or 2nd level, NMC number, experience of working at this level in a hospital or care home, experience of the supervision of care, knowledge of the physical and mental conditions effecting older people, knowledge of professional codes of practice, knowledge of assisted lift and risk assessment, and you will be able to undertake the full range of registered nurse duties including assisted lifting of residents.
This position is within a Care home and it is a 36 hour week, days only.
